Our certified orthotist, Cecil Tankersley, is now qualified to provide the WalkAide drop-foot neuromuscular electrical stimulation system. WalkAide has been in clinical trials for 10 years and was granted FDA approval in November 2006 for distribution in the U.S. and European Union. It is most sucessful for CVA (stroke) patients but can be successfully implemented for patients with other neurological impairments.
